It is advisable to be prepared before the rain, and not to dig a well when thirsty. The annual business plan is formulated around strategic objectives, which decomposes and implements the annual goals in the enterprise's strategic planning, and serves as the operational guide for the enterprise during the current year. An effective annual business plan requires undertaking the company's medium and long-term strategic development goals, leading the key work carried out by various departments throughout the year, accurately analyzing the problems and difficulties in marketing externally, and formulating corresponding strategies. Internally, it focuses on the "shortcomings" of organizational management and determines improvement directions.          

To help business managers and employees master the theory and tools of formulating and implementing annual business plans, and guide practical operations, on November 11th, the Human Resources Department organized the 13th video training session of 2020, titled "Overview of Annual Business Plans". The course was taught by Wang Lei, a specially appointed senior lecturer at Beijing Times Guanghua, and was divided into three parts.

One is to emphasize the important position of annual business plans in enterprise management. Introducing the theme with the three line model of enterprise management, the "three lines" of enterprise management are strategy, annual business plan, and project management, emphasizing the coordinating and organizational role of the annual business plan as the second line and the important relationship between the annual business plan and enterprise strategy.

The second is to clarify the significance and objectives of the annual business plan. Proposing an annual business plan is the first process of an organization, providing tactical theoretical guidance for the development of the enterprise.

The third is to explain in detail the basic concepts of the annual business plan. The annual business plan is to find methods and paths to achieve relative competitive advantages and business goals under limited environmental, resource, and capability conditions. On this basis, the concept of annual business plan is decomposed, and the meanings of "plan", "enterprise", "year", and "operation" are elaborated in detail. Based on the basic model of organizational management system, proposing "plan" is to interpret the business objectives of the enterprise as a collection of projects, emphasizing the content and proportion of the annual business plan of the enterprise, which includes conventional projects (70%), improvement projects (20%), and strategic projects (10%); Based on the basic principles of business organization operation, it is proposed that "enterprise" is a highly professional and collaborative business organization formed in an advanced and industrialized form; By comparing the concepts of "management" and "marketing", the scope of coverage for marketing plans and business plans has been clarified.

This training course has rich and complete content, clear structure, and typical and innovative case studies. Teacher Wang Lei helped the trainees understand the three line model of enterprise management through systematic lectures, clarified the significance and goals of annual business plans, and understood the basic concepts of annual business plans.
