Date: October 16, 2019

Under the scorching sun in the sky, dogs lie in the shade, and high sky streams fire birds throw into the forest. At the beginning of autumn, the high temperature did not decrease. In order to demonstrate the humanistic care of Zhongtu Xi'an Company, enhance employees' work happiness, build a harmonious and healthy corporate humanistic environment, and raise employees' awareness of stress issues, provide reasonable ways for employees to relieve stress and vent emotions, and improve their ability to cope with pressure and emotional management, on August 16th, the Human Resources Department of Zhongtu Xi'an Company held a group counseling session with the theme of "Stress and Its Coping Strategies", with Professor Wei Ping from Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology as the counseling expert.

In this event, Professor Wei Ping broke away from the traditional lecture style training approach and adopted a group counseling approach, allowing participants to recognize and understand stress through diverse experiences, and seeking personalized ways of venting in the process. Professor Wei Ping's solid professional foundation and cheerful and friendly coaching teaching style made participants feel like they were in the spring breeze.

At the beginning of the event, Professor Wei Ping first conducted a survey and evaluation of the participants' psychological knowledge background and their participation in relevant psychological training. Afterwards, he introduced the coaching methods and expected goals of this session. Professor Wei Ping elaborated on the issue of stress in a vertical and horizontal manner. Vertically, several issues have been raised from a macro perspective, including "what is stress", "how stress is formed", "the impact of stress on our work and life", "how to properly view stress", and "techniques for facing stress". Horizontally, Professor Wei Ping analyzed the problem in depth through multiple rounds of games without any constraints, and proposed guiding solutions based on the participants' gaming experience.
Stress refers to a state of physical and mental tension that individuals experience during the process of adapting to life, resulting from an imbalance between environmental demands and their own coping abilities. Stress is a cognitive and behavioral experience composed of both stressors and stress responses. Faced with complex work and stressful life, we always encounter stress unexpectedly. There is no situation where there is no psychological pressure at all. Only by facing pressure and being friends with it can we reconcile with ourselves.

Professor Wei Ping led everyone to experience the game segment of "Strong Wind Blows", allowing everyone to quickly enter the state. During the three rounds of the game, Professor Wei Ping organized it scientifically with a moderate pace, and everyone initially experienced a sense of pressure. After the end of the game session, Professor Wei Ping provided a stress relieving method - the breathing relaxation method - based on everyone's overall game reaction and game effect, and led everyone to practice together.
Taking into account the prevalent issue of success anxiety in today's society, Professor Wei Ping has designed a game called "Growth Trilogy" that highlights the bigger picture. In the game, there are participants who complete the transformation first, as well as those who remain in the original "egg" state until the end. Professor Wei Ping exchanged feelings with the participants and summarized them.

In the process of growing up, we will all experience failure, which can bring pain. Perhaps we have struggled, but ultimately we cannot reach the top of the pyramid. However, we should recognize that the process of struggle is a spiral upward and accumulation of quantity. The path of success or smooth sailing for young people is not beneficial to personal growth, and the timing of success should be viewed correctly.
Professor Wei Ping analyzed the sources of life and work stress from a professional perspective. Life pressure comes from: firstly, inner expectations. When one cannot seek, pressure will arise; 2、 Setbacks in the process of growth and brief stagnation in the process of progress; 3、 Lack of self-awareness; 4、 Lack of reflection; 5、 The pressure of self-discipline and lack of self-discipline caused by dependence on mobile phones; 6、 Marriage and romantic pressure; 7、 Communication barriers with parents and tense parent-child relationships. Professor Wei Ping also put forward reference suggestions based on the participants' experiences and feelings: firstly, establish reasonable expectations and have a correct understanding of oneself; 2、 Try more, experience more, summarize more, reflect more, find the field that suits you, and accumulate experience through continuous trial and error; 3、 We should not completely negate pressure and face it directly. We should recognize that moderate pressure can promote our growth; 4、 Break the "sanctified" parent-child relationship pattern in consciousness and try to understand the pressure of parents.
To help participants have a clearer understanding of work pressure and find suitable ways to vent, Professor Wei Ping designed a set of games including "Handshake with Flowers", "Closed Loop Release", "Fingertip Stick", and "Applause Counting". Through sincere interaction and teamwork, the game sessions were conducted in an orderly manner, and participants gained a lot of experience.

Professor Wei Ping provided guidance and suggestions to alleviate work pressure based on the comprehensive gaming experience of participants. 1、 Finding the right field of expertise is where gold always shines; 2、 Develop a strong sense of teamwork and seek timely support from the team and leadership; 3、 Affirm one's important role in the team; 4、 Success cannot be achieved overnight. Those who travel a hundred miles are only halfway through. Encourage yourself to learn how to persevere.
During the three hour event, participants would sometimes burst into laughter, sometimes serious, and Professor Wei Ping spared no effort in delivering a wonderful lecture hall. The expert's presentation is vivid, humorous, and easy to understand. The employees are actively engaged, enthusiastic, and serious, and the on-site interaction is sincere and warm.
