On April 18th local time, the "China Pavilion" at Gazi University in Turkey, jointly built by the State Council Information Office, Renmin University of China, and Gazi University in Turkey, and constructed by China National Publications Import and Export Corporation, was completed and launched. Liu Yandong, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the launch ceremony and unveiled the plaque for the "China Pavilion".

The "China Pavilion" of Ghazi University is the 14th "China Pavilion" jointly built by the Information Office of the State Council and university libraries of other countries overseas. It is the first "China Pavilion" established by China in West Asia and North Africa, aiming to promote Sinology and Chinese studies in Türkiye. This museum is also the third "China Pavilion" constructed by Zhongtu Company, following the "China Pavilion" at the National University of Engineering in Peru and the "China Pavilion" at the National Institute of Political Science and Administration in Laos.
More than 50 Chinese and foreign guests, including Jin Nuo, Secretary of the Party Committee of Renmin University of China, and Ibrahim, President of Ghazi University, attended the launching ceremony. In his speech, Ibrahim pointed out that the establishment of the "China Pavilion" is the result of the deepening of China Turkey relations in the field of cultural exchanges. China and Turkey have even greater potential for cooperation in other fields, and he believes that cultural exchanges between the two countries will reach a higher level.
At the event, Liu Yandong carefully reviewed themed books such as "Xi Jinping Talks about Governance" and "The Chinese Dream", and highly praised books such as "The Great China Library" published by China Publishing Group and "The Key Words Series of Socialist Core Values" published by Renmin University Press. He particularly affirmed the contribution of the "Great China Library" series of books to the globalization of Chinese culture. She emphasized the importance of doing a good job in translation work, so that the world can understand Chinese books. Zhang Jichen, General Manager of China National Publications Import and Export Corporation, introduced the overall situation of the "China Pavilion" to Liu Yandong and his delegation. The library is located on the fourth floor of the Central Library of Gazi University, with an area of 200 square meters. It is mainly divided into four areas: book reading, cultural exhibition, multimedia interaction, and academic exchange. The "China Pavilion" has a collection of nearly 100000 resources, covering the latest ideological research achievements, excellent cultural and artistic achievements, and top scientific and technological achievements in contemporary China. Among them, there are over 1500 printed books (nearly 30% in Chinese and about 70% in English, Turkish, Spanish, French, and Arabic); Nearly 1500 audio and video products; There are over 80000 types of digital resources, including nearly 30000 e-books, bilingual electronic journals such as "Today's China", and academic literature databases such as the "Encyclopedia of China Database". These digital resources all come from the "CNPeRading" platform independently developed by Zhongtu Company, and provide digital library services of Chinese content to overseas "China Pavilion" through this platform.

The establishment of the "China Pavilion" aims to open a window for the Turkish people, especially young students, to understand China and build a long-term effective platform for the increasingly frequent and in-depth cultural exchanges between China and Türkiye.
